This program is aimed to engage in educational workshops that address the root causes of gender-based violence, promote healthy relationships, and provide tools for intervention while also helping victims access confidential counseling services, creating a safe space for emotional healing and empowerment.
Breaking the Silence, Fostering Empowerment
Baraka Women’s Center stands firmly against gender-based violence (GBV) and we are committed to creating a safe and supportive space for women. Our Gender-Based Violence and Awareness Program is designed to raise awareness, provide resources, and empower women to break the cycle of violence.
Objectives of the program
Empower Survivors
Provide support and resources for survivors of gender-based violence, fostering resilience and empowerment.
Community Engagement
Foster a community that actively condemns gender-based violence, promoting a culture of respect, equality, and empowerment.
Educating on Gender-Based Violence
Raise awareness about the different forms of gender-based violence, including domestic violence, sexual harassment, and human trafficking.
